Fakir Knitwears Limited, a concern of Fakir Group, is seeking an experienced and technically sound Senior Officer – Knitting for its knitting operations. The person will play a key role in sample development, machine parameter control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure quality production and timely execution.

Job Description :

  • Develop knitting samples and ensure fabric quality, construction accuracy, and technical compliance.
  • Monitor and adjust knitting machine settings and parameters to achieve desired fabric specifications.
  • Coordinate closely with Merchandising, DPD, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time execution.
  • Conduct pre-production meetings and resolve technical issues related to bulk production.
  • Maintain proper records of knitting samples and process documentation.
  • Follow up on yarn and fabric inventory for both sample development and bulk production.

Additional Requirements :

  • Strong technical knowledge of knitting machinery and fabric construction.
  • Good understanding of yarn specifications and fabric quality standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining technical reports and documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
