Fakir Group is seeking experienced and dynamic professionals for the position of Manager - Cutting. The selected candidates will be responsible for leading and managing the entire Cutting section covering Knit products; ensuring optimal fabric utilization, precision cutting, and on-time cut-panel delivery to sewing lines as per buyer specifications. This is a key operational leadership role requiring hands-on expertise in cutting room processes for knit garments within a fast-paced export-oriented manufacturing environment.
1. Plan, organize, and supervise all day-to-day Cutting operations for Knit products; including marker making, fabric relaxation, spreading, cutting, bundling, numbering, and ticketing.
2. Ensure cutting processes are carried out strictly as per buyer specifications, approved tech packs, and pattern standards for each style/order.
3. Maximize fabric utilization by minimizing fabric wastage through efficient marker planning, accurate cut plans, and end-bit control.
4. Strong understanding of fabric shrinkage, grain line requirements, shade segregation, and cut panel quality audit standards (AQL).
5. Proficient in managing CAD/CAM systems, automatic spreading and cutting machinery, maintenance schedules, and cutting room efficiency.
